The Basarai’s manuscript is a paper created by a mystic, writer, author of two fiction books published in Russia – Stories from a Small Room and The Tale of Arigan and Haripudra – Basarai during his stay in the Saint-Petersburg. The manuscript is written in unknown languages that only vaguely resemble the Latin and Arabic scripts. It describes imaginary plants and mystifications. One can distinguish the poetry and astrology sections where, as may be supposed, the signs of zodiac including the Serpent Holder are described. The manuscript is a Paperblanks Grolier notebook containing 241 pages.
Currently, the Basarai’s manuscript, in terms of its mystery, remains one of the most enigmatic books in the world. According to the author, no one will ever be able to decrypt it.
